Description

Superior Power Supply Design Skills

• Solid background in power supply architectures; Flyback, Resonant, ZVS, Synchronous, Bridging, etc...


• Strong knowledge of magnetics as it applies to inductors and transformers


• Design experience with FETs, MOSFETs, SCRs, TRIACs, IGBTs, Bipolar Transistors, TVS, etc.


• Solid foundation in PCB layout, component placement and routing.


• Able to model and simulate complex circuits


• Experience merging analog and digital designs and making them work


• Signal processing; ADCs, DACs, OpAmps, passive filters, voltage monitoring, current sensing, etc.


• Experience with safety and compliance regulations.


• Familiarity with UL1741, EN61000, IEEE1547 a definite plus


• RF or Communication Systems design experience is desirable.


• Firmware programming experience using C and assembly are a plus.


• Must be able to work in a fast pace, cross functional, group environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop products from concept, through Manufacturing and support them to end of life

• Design, Document, and Validate designs.


• Work with compliance groups to ensure successful completion of certification process.


• Write Engineering Requirements, Test Plans, Validation Reports.


• Effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.


• Take responsibility for schedules, performance and cost objectives
