Description
The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is responsible for partner identification, recruitment, development and management of Microsoft partners focused on selling solutions. The PAM will ensure an appropriate mix of Microsoft licensing and solutions partners are in their designated geography. They will help develop sales and technical competencies and execute on joint demand generation activities and provide account management. This person will manage the Microsoft partner opportunity pipeline, broker partners into opportunities, leverage marketing, field and telesales to facilitate engagement to shorten sales cycle on key opportunities. The PAM will evangelize their partners capabilities by articulating partner value propositions and creating proactive engagements to develop net new opportunities. The PAM will provide support for joint customer-facing sales activities, business and marketing planning and execution. Qualifications include 8+ years sales and/or business development experience, and a BS/BA in Business, Marketing or computer-related is required. Knowledge of Microsofts products & channel model is critical, a keen understanding of consultative solution sales, and high medium business acumen. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a leveraged sales model, including partner development, account management and business planning. Teamwork, communication and cross-group collaboration skills are critical. Position is located in San Francisco, CA.
