Bachelors Degree

This is an opportunity for a Sr. Manager in the Strategic Effectiveness group within the Global Regulatory Affairs and Safety (GRAAS) department at Amgen.
Role Purpose:
Support functional business planning and modeling # project economics, planning and forecasting, detailed resource modeling, process costing and related activities to accurately model GRAAS activities and capture benefits of strategic changes.
Key Activities:
Strategic change management
Supporting change through financial modeling of projects and ROI
Activity-based costing to support process improvements
Utilize SAP for mining supporting data
Identify and use data to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful completion of initiatives
Align with PMSO to take strategic cross-functional plans and forecasts for developing detailed functional plans
Probabilistic, sensitivity and scenario analysis to support managerial decision making
Business and long-term financial planning
Performance metrics, reporting and presentations
Project valuation, operating expense budgeting and cost control
Manage and develop lateral staff members or direct reports
Provide technical and governance support to leadership and teams
Work with GRAAS and cross-functional leadership to coordinate management and prioritization of GRAAS initiatives and resource allocation.
Work with Finance and HR to successfully develop robust plans
Knowledge and Competencies:
Effective leadership skills applicable to dynamic, learned and diverse teams
Skilled in Financial Modeling, Project Economics / ROI Modeling, Planning and Forecasting, Capacity / Demand planning,
Activity-based Costing
Expertise in developing performance measures and metrics
Life Sciences experience
Fortune 500 experience
Sourcing and supplier performance management
Lean (Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Transactional)
Self-starter with a high level of initiative
Good Clinical and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GCP & cGMP) experience
