We are rapidly expanding our footprint in North America and are looking for experienced Financial Services Consultants on the West Coast.


 


 


 


We are looking for qualified candidates with experience in the following areas:


 


 





  • Front office / Middle office Operations & Trade Control



  • Wholesale banking front-office trading platform experience



  • Wealth & Investment Management experience, particularly in retail brokerage operations and personal trust



  • Domain experience for market and credit risk



  • Risk Management & Compliance / Regulatory



  • Organizational Transformation / Change Management



  • Business Reengineering & Business Architecture



  • Enterprise risk platforms and initiatives




 


 


 


An ideal candidate should have an understanding of consulting methodologies within the financial services industry (strategy work, business case development, process mapping, lifecycle of project implementation, requirements gathering, competitive assessment, etc).


 


 


 


The main responsibilities as a Financial Services Management Consultant:


 


 


 





  • Lead or participate in a Capco team to best service our clients’ needs



  • Develop understanding of client strategic direction, issues and project goals



  • Conduct structured data gathering, research and analysis



  • Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements, functional specifications



  • Lead or assist in documenting, evaluating and translating business architectures and needs into IT application and technical architectures



  • Prepare, attend and participate in, help facilitate and document client meetings/workshops



  • Develop high quality presentations/reports to effectively communicate project findings



  • Lead or assist in implementation of strategies and integrated solutions to address client needs



  • Participate in development of new opportunities: conduct market/client research and analysis




 


 


 


Professional Requirements:


 


 


 





  • Strong understanding of business/market dynamics and financial practices in the Financial Services Industry



  • Project experience in the Financial Services Industry (preferably within a consulting environment) and knowledge of best practices.



  • Understanding of business analysis/systems analysis methodologies



  • Experience of tools and processes involved in business requirements gathering; use case development, process modeling, and functional documentation



  • Experience with Project management methodology – objectives setting, management of progress, quality assurance, issue escalation, task planning, status reporting, etc.



  • Capability to participate or run workshops with Capco’s clients at C-level management



  • Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and thought leadership



  • Customer Relationship Management experience. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to discuss complex ideas and develop project deliverables with managers and clients. Ability to think, write and present in a logical and structured way



  • Practice with process optimization techniques preferred (Six Sigma, Lean, etc)



  • Willingness to travel and work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client site

Educational Requirements:


 





  • Minimum of BS/BA Degree or technical degree 



  • Masters or MBA a plus
